According to an article found on Deadline.com , Netflix has employed international literary consulting company, Maria B. Campbell Associates as exclusive literary scouts for the internet TV network in New York and the UK.
Just think of the opportunities this presents to authors, especially authors with series of books such as Mae Claire’s Point Pleasant Series for example.
However, they are not accepting ANY unsolicited manuscripts. But, if you have an Agent I would highly recommend that you put this bug in their ear.
Annabelle Saks in New York and Katie McCalmont in London will be spearheading the scouting for Netflix and will work closely with Campbell, who founded the New York company in 1994 and the London company in 2013.

Great info post!! I think all the best series have been on Netflix. I’ve also been enjoying Amazon too. Transparent was terrific and I am loving The Man in the High Castle! Wish I had an agent! Thank you!
