Jan’s Top Ten Books for 2018

I love to look back over the many books I’ve read throughout the year and put together a list of what, in my humble opinion, is the best of the best.

This year I read 37 books and let me tell you, it was no easy task coming up with only ten to put on this list.

I narrowed it down to the books that lingered with me long after the last word. I hope you enjoy my list and will find at least one new read to pick up!

As you can see, most of these authors are members of the RAVE REVIEWS BOOK CLUB. It’s a great place to look for great books to read!

I have linked each box to the book on Amazon for your shopping convenience!

One book I read this year that I still have a book hangover from is Whete The Crawdads Sing by Celia Owens. I highly highly recommend it!!
Love you and Happy New Year.

    1. Gwen, “The Contract” was a story that lingered with me long after the last page had been turned. Out of all the books I read this year, that one topped them all for me. Can’t wait to see what the next one will be! Happy New Year! Hugs!

  6. Wow thank you Jan:) I’m blown away to be in such amazing company. I’ve read six of the books and completely agree they are good reads that stay with you. I’m going to have to move the others up on my reading list this year and add one I don’t have. Congrats to everyone on the list.

    1. You are such an avid reader, Denise, I’m not at all surprised that you had read a good portion of these books. 🙂 And, “The Button” deserved to be on my list. I enjoyed the story so much. I love how you are able to intertwine your human characters with the angelic ones. It works perfectly! Happy New Year!

  7. WOW, huge congrats to all the winners! Such an impressive list and I’m thrilled to be mentioned with them. What an honor. I hope to never take anything for granted and I know if you didn’t feel my book was worthy you wouldn’t have chosen it as a bonus. You always follow your truth and just because we’re sisters doesn’t mean squat. Your truth is what you live by and I admire that. Big hugs! Look forward to what’s coming, not what’s behind us. I feel that 2019 will be good to both of us. Love you dearly.

    1. You got one thing right, sister. I do always follow my heart and especially where stories are concerned. I loved Marley Rose and Roan’s story and I just know everyone else will love them too. You have such a unique ability to make the characters truly come to life and leap off the pages! I love you and here’s to a new year of great and wonderful things!!!

    1. John, as I continued to read different books throughout the year, “The Contract” lingered with me and I found myself thinking back to it frequently. That, my friend, is what distinguishes a great book from a good book! Happy New Year!
