In these uncertain times, we all need tools to help us stay centered and find peace. The short meditation I chose for this week is designed to do just that.
Also, I was inspired to do a mini Tarot reading for the week, using three cards. Here is the message.

We are coming fully into the new year, leaving behind the celebrations of the holidays and settling into perhaps new routines or a new way of life that we never expected to have to incorporate. The first card in the past position, Six of Cups, shows a little girl giving a gift and cups being emotions, giving from love. To me, that represents the holidays that are now behind us. The second card, Nine of Wands, is all about resilience and persistence. We are all being challenged with those things right now, and that card is in the present position. The future card from the Major Arcana, The Hermit, tells us that the best way to deal with life as we move forward through this week is to go inward and rely on our higher consciousness, or inner guidance to lead us.
Now on to the meditation. You can come back to it anytime you desire. I hope you enjoy it. May you be inspired and energized!
Hi Jan! The cards are perfect. Also, Monday Meditation works on Tuesday.

Thank you for the reading, Jan! There could not be a better third card. We find the most profound answers inside. Maybe that is why the word is “in-sight”.

Jan, what a wonderful meditation. I should do this every morning and my day would probably go better. Love the reading and see no surprises there. Very good. I think it’s all positive. Hard work never hurt anyone and you and I are pretty used to it. Love you, sister. 🙂

Beautiful meditation, Jan. The hermit is a powerful card for what it evokes. He’s reverent, respectful, and from that posture, he extends light. We need to follow the Light. 💗
