Good morning, friends. Life has been a rollercoaster with so many ups and downs lately. While my sister still struggles to hold on to life, I had the wonderful opportunity to reconnect with family I had not seen in many years. She always loved family reunions and we all agreed that’s the good that came out of her illness.
All that aside, we will finish up the opening and balancing of the Seven Chakras today with the Crown Chakra. This is the area just above the top of your head and is the pure connection with the Universe, with Source. It is the most spiritual in nature of all the chakras. It is the source of wisdom, enlightenment, and connection to higher guidance. The color associated with this chakra is violet. The gemstones that resonate with this chakra are Phenakite, Amethyst, Clear Quartz Crystal, Labradorite, Moonstone, and Lapis Lazuli – all high vibrational stones. Some affirmations that can help enhance this beautiful chakra are: I am Connected with the Divine – I am open to new ideas – The world is my teacher – I am guided by a higher power and inner wisdom.
I found this beautiful meditation that is short but powerful for opening and activating the Crown Chakra.
And now for the Tarot Reading for this first full week in July.

The Knight of Cups is the classic romantic of the Tarot deck. He is in touch with his intuition and emotions, and he uses them masterfully to charm and attract others. He shows compassion and understanding towards others because he has learned to understand his own feelings and emotions. The Knight is kind, caring, and very in touch with his feminine side. When the Knight of Cups appears in a Tarot reading, you thrive on all things beautiful and are inspired by the many creative outlets available to you.
The Temperance card is not a new one to us as we have had it before and it all about balance, moderation, patience, and purpose. You are being invited to stabilize your life and allow the life force energy to flow through you. What a perfect accompaniment to the Crown Chakra! This Tarot card is about blending, mixing, and combining diverse elements in a way that creates something new and even more valuable than its separate parts.
In its purest form, the Lovers card represents conscious connections and meaningful relationships. The arrival of this card in a Tarot reading shows that you have a beautiful, soul-honoring connection with a loved one. The Lovers is a card of open communication and raw honesty. At its heart, the Lovers is about choice. The choice about who you want to be in this lifetime, how you connect with others and on what level, and about what you will and won’t stand for. To make good choices, you need to be clear about your personal beliefs and values – and stay true to them.
I love this! The week holds beautiful energy for creativity, balance, and honest communication with yourself and with others.
I loved this reading Jan, so calming and hopeful. Like the ride is slowing down. I know I’ve missed a few of these, so I’m glad I caught this one. And still holding your sister in my thoughts. ❤

Thank you for the beautiful chakra meditation. I revere the chakras and wish I could see the chakras of others as I meet them. I attended a “chakra” party a few years ago. A woman “photographed” each attendee’s chakra (in the basement of my friend’s house, with a special camera) and gave each of us an enlightening photo with the color of our chakra and an explanation of what that color meant. It was fascinating and wonderful. Thinking of your sister and hope she is without pain and feeling the love of her family.

Thank you SO much for leaving a comment here, Pamela, and for following my blog! ! The Chakra colors you are talking about are Auras. An aura is an energy field around everything. I have even seen auras around inanimate objects. I love that and love seeing how the colors change depending on your current soul’s place in life. I actually did a post on Auras when I was on a blog tour with “Ghostly Interference.” If you’d like to take a look, I think you’ll find it interesting. There are a couple of pictures taken at vastly different times. https://maeclair.net/2021/01/05/guest-author-jan-sikes-and-auras-ghostlyinterference-newrelease/

Right!! Right, auras. (slapping hand on forehead). At the time the woman took my aura photo, it was goldish white. Right now I think it’s purple/red. 🙂 I’m off to read your post…

I like the shoreline in the first two. Where the elements come together is supposed to be a magical place. (3 of them, anyway.)

I totally agree, Craig. When the elements come together is magical! In these two cards, we have water, earth and air. Thanks for stoping by!
