Good morning. I was compelled to go in a different direction with today’s post. I hope it resonates with you on some level or another. This quote from Kurt Vonnegut surprised me. I didn’t expect something like this from him.

Instead of a meditation, I am sharing a few minutes of powerful affirmations that are sure to uplift your day!
I was drawn back to the Rune Oracle Cards today. Look at all the passion in this image! It makes me think of the Olympics.

The rune Kaunaz is tied to fire, which is at once a carrier of light and heat, but also destruction. Each time that something new enters our lives, youthful energies are set in motion, and our gaze is illuminated by prospects that we had not taken into consideration. But we must not let ourselves be blinded by illusions or overly devouring passions.
It’s a good idea to reflect on how the strength of desire becomes part of our life and transforms it. After all, each action or manifestation begins with a thought. Are we able to achieve what we want, or do our dreams become a destructive force? Are our ambitions commensurate with our potential?
Kaunaz increases our vitality, makes us resourceful, and is excellent in regard to emotional issues.
There is absolutely nothing I can add to that, other than to use our passions and energy in a positive way.
Instead of pulling a Dragon Oracle Card today, I was drawn to my Angel Oracle Card deck. I love this card and all that it implies. Plus, it matches perfectly with the Rune card above.
That’s it! Make it a great week!
Two interesting cards this week Jan… power and the energy it provides is very much in the headlines at the moment and at the personal level for most of us too. It has to be wielded wisely and carefully. Have a great week ahead ♥

The cards are truly a perfect match. Every idea, vision, and dream may need a little (or a lot) courage AND effort to take action for their realization. It doesn’t work out without. Often we need to let go of something to empty our hands for grabbing something new. May it be an attitude, a person, an experience, or simply we need to make more time to realize that dream. And on the way to manifestation, the adventure continues. I love the card since it is ALWAYS timely!

Thank you, Erika, for your comment. I totally agree that often, we have to let go of something to make room for a manifestation. If our hands are full, they can’t grab onto anything new. I’m so glad you enjoyed today’s post. Have a great week ahead!
