Jan Sikes openly admits that she never set out in life to be an author. But she had a story to tell. Not just any story, but a true story that rivals any fiction creation. You simply can’t make this stuff up. It all happened. Through fictitious characters, the entertaining true story comes to life in an intricately woven tale which encompasses four books.
A series of music CDs accompanies the books, while a beautiful and unique book of poetry and art brings the story full circle.
And now that the story is told, this author can’t find a way to put down the pen. She continues to write fiction and has published numerous award-winning short stories. She published her debut paranormal romance novel, Ghostly Interference, in 2020, as Book One of The White Rune Series. Jagged Feathers is set to release in 2021 as Book Two of that series.
She is a member of the Authors Marketing Guild, The Writer’s League of Texas, Romance Writers of America, and the Paranormal Writer’s Guild. She is an active blogger, an avid fan of Texas music and a grandmother of five. She resides in North Texas.

Love combining music and writing. In grad school, I did presentations of music which fit novels and played on the piano. Think Arnold Schoenberg and twelve tone music with Thomas Mann for example. References made by Mann in Dr. Faustus of Schoenberg. It is not my favorite form of music but the mere idea of incorporating music and German literature fascinated me. Annette von Droste-Huelshoff wrote poetry and piano music. Thank you to Annika Perry for steering me in your direction.

What a lovely idea. Music features in my novel The Curse of Time. The main protagonist loves crystals, art and music. Our house is always full of music as my husband is a keen guitarist.

Hello, Elliott. You can communicate with me at rijan21@gmail.com. I followed the link you listed and I would need clarification as to what you’d want me to review, as I see several albums. Let me know exactly what you are seeking and also links where the music can be purchased. Other info such as a good photo, brief bio (no more than 75 -100 words) and your own contact info will be helpful for a post as well. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you for contacting me.
