Good morning. I was compelled to go in a different direction with today’s post. I hope it resonates with you on some level or another. This quote from Kurt Vonnegut surprised me. I didn’t expect something like this from him.

A purpose of human life, no matter who is controlling it, is to love whoever is around to be loved. Kurt Vonnegut

Instead of a meditation, I am sharing a few minutes of powerful affirmations that are sure to uplift your day!

I was drawn back to the Rune Oracle Cards today. Look at all the passion in this image! It makes me think of the Olympics.

The rune Kaunaz is tied to fire, which is at once a carrier of light and heat, but also destruction. Each time that something new enters our lives, youthful energies are set in motion, and our gaze is illuminated by prospects that we had not taken into consideration. But we must not let ourselves be blinded by illusions or overly devouring passions.

It’s a good idea to reflect on how the strength of desire becomes part of our life and transforms it. After all, each action or manifestation begins with a thought. Are we able to achieve what we want, or do our dreams become a destructive force? Are our ambitions commensurate with our potential?

Kaunaz increases our vitality, makes us resourceful, and is excellent in regard to emotional issues.

There is absolutely nothing I can add to that, other than to use our passions and energy in a positive way.

Instead of pulling a Dragon Oracle Card today, I was drawn to my Angel Oracle Card deck. I love this card and all that it implies. Plus, it matches perfectly with the Rune card above.

Life Review. Archangel Jeremiel: "Take inventory of your life, and resolve to change or heal anything that is unbalanced."

That’s it! Make it a great week!

It’s Labor Day in the U.S. – #RuneCard

What is Labor Day? It is a day set aside to celebrate the millions of workers who keep our nation moving.

It’s an official Monday holiday in the United States, and I am spending part of the day today with my children and grandchildren at a water park. It’s their last big splash for the summer. For that reason, I am foregoing my regular Monday post as I will be away and unable to respond to comments.

However, I do want to leave you with this inspiration for the week. It’s not only powerful but timely.

From the Rune Oracle Card Deck

Mannaz is the rune that is connected to the sense of union that unites all humanity to the cosmos. The god shown on the card has three faces—one facing the moon, one turning toward the sun, and one looking ahead. His gaze embraces the totality of the world and mankind.

This card alludes to cooperation and reminds us that no one is an island. We are bound by invisible threads that cannot be dissolved. The card indicates collective dreams and the joy of cooperating and having a shared project. Unity is strength. Exchange and communication are two key components of the card.

Mannaz facilitates communication and exchange between us and others.

Thank you for stopping by. I’ll return to my regular Monday posts next week. In the meantime, make it a great week ahead!

#MondayMotivation – #Meditation – #RuneOracleCard

I love the quote from John Steinbeck this week. And the theme seems to be one of concentration and steadily working. I don’t know about you, but I have at least five to six things I am juggling at the same time and often have to fight the urge to jump from task to task.

I found this meditation to be energizing and uplifting. It is a great way to put all your chores in perspective and focus.

I was drawn back to my new Rune oracle cards for this week’s inspiration, and it is very fitting.

The keyword associated with this Rune is concentration. Sowelo is aligned with charisma and driving energy.

Everything can be achieved as long as you use the right tools and your awareness.

This card invites us to channel our forces and funnel them toward a single goal. Mind and heart must become allies because within their union lies true power. The card furthermore symbolizes a lucky moment. Now that events are favorable, we must not rest on our laurels but act with all our concentration.

The power of this rune helps to shed light on our wishes and focus our goals.

My Takeaway:

I loved the idea of the mind and heart becoming allies. There is great power in concentrated focus that ultimately leads to a single goal. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to get caught up in the juggling act. This is a fabulous reminder.

I keep being amazed by the gorgeous Dragon cards. This one goes with the theme for the week.

Black Dragon From Saturn.
Brings you wisdom through spiritual discipline. Concentrate. Focus on your ultimate vision. Congratulate yourself - you have passed a test!

That’s it for this week. Keep your focus and stay steady!

Good morning beautiful souls! I missed you last week while I was away. We had a jam-packed week of fun in the Florida sun at Universal Studios and Volcano Bay. The kiddos loved it. They are big Harry Potter fans, so that was a big treat for them.

Now it’s back to the real world, although I will be away again next Monday.

Within the structure of our Universe, there is a perfect balance. This meditation brings such a state of peaceful harmony, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I recently bought a new deck of Oracle cards and wanted to use them in the weekly reading.

The card I drew for this week is Isa. I added the actual rune with this symbol to the photo.

The meaning of Isa is Ice. The keyword is intuition.

Odin holds a stick on the end of which shines a transparent stone as if might have been carved from ice. This symbolizes the purity of truth. There is such power in this card. He almost looks angry and most certainly determined. I love all the different colors and symbols on his robe.

The rune is associated with thought and intuition. We might have unexpected flashes of awareness occur that can pierce the veil of illusion and sometimes cause turmoil, both internal and external.

Courage and moral strength are needed to be able to sustain our truth unwaveringly.

Isa protects us from overly harsh criticism and enhances our critical thinking and self-esteem.

My Takeaway:

This is pretty straightforward. The truth is our strength in any and every situation. Unexpected awareness can shake us out of our comfort zones. Harsh criticism is something we, as authors, often experience. I think the message in this is to remain unwaveringly in our truth, keep our self-esteem and never stop believing in our stories.

What a lovely Dragon Card showed up today!
