We are going to end this blog tour in sunny Florida. I think I’ll stay awhile and lay on the beach.

Yvette Calleiro is a wonderful human being, period. She is an educator, a mom, and a daughter, devoted to her family. I’ve known her for many years and admire her beautiful spirit and writing talent. Her most recent book release, Hype, is a great example. In my review, I stated that every teenager should read this book, and I said that because I believe it.

We are getting close to the end of the blog tour, and I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling a little jetlag. However, we’ve still got a few more stops including one more to the UK.

I met Robert L. Fear (aka Fred) many years ago when we were members of the same book club. His area of expertise lies in writing memoirs and biographies. I had the pleasure of reading and reviewing his memoir of a wild summer in Izba when he was but twenty-one. My review says it all.

I thoroughly enjoyed this memoir from Robert (aka Fred) Fear! As he took me along with him on the many adventures he had in Ibiza during the summer of 1977, I never lost interest or got bored. That summer changed the author’s life. It was not all roses. He had to work hard at different jobs to make ends meet. He slept in a tiny room and shared a bathroom with other tenants. But the magic of the island outweighed the discomforts. Mr. Fear gave me an inside view of moving to a foreign place and becoming a local. He immersed himself in the culture, the people, and the jobs he had to work in order to stay the entire summer. It became apparent throughout the story, that he grew through the experience. His confidence increased and his determination to have more adventures grew. This is a well-written memoir. The author made me feel as if I was there with him. I found it to be highly interesting and entertaining. Anyone who loves to read true stories will surely enjoy this one!

Remember “Cheers,” the TV show? Well, the bar Dan Antion sets his Saturday Stream of Consciousness posts inside, is a virtual replica of that. And guess what? We’re going for a visit. Back to Mae. I discovered her books many years ago with her Point Pleasant Series. I quickly became a dyed-in-the-wool fan. Her most recent release is a collection of short stories that are the perfect way to showcase her writing style. I loved this book and highly recommend it!
