#CoverReveal – Book 2 The White Rune Series – Jagged Feathers

The second book in The White Rune Series will soon be published, although I don’t have a date yet.

However, here is the cover and blurb!

Blurb:

Vann Noble did his duty. He served his country and returned a shell of a man, wounded inside and out. With a missing limb and battling PTSD, he seeks healing in an isolated cabin outside a small Texas town with a stray dog that sees beyond his master’s scars. If only the white rune’s magic can bring a happily ever after to a man as broken as Vann.

On the run from hired killers and struggling to make sense of her unexplained deadly mission, Nakina Bird seeks refuge in Vann’s cabin. She has secrets – Secrets that can get them all killed. A ticking clock and long odds of living or dying, create jarring risks. Will these two not only survive but find unexpected love along the way? Or, will evil forces win and destroy them both?

Thoughts? Would the cover and/or the blurb compel you to grab this book?

I will announce a publish date as soon as I have it!

#TuesdayRunes – Wunjo

Welcome to another segment of exploring The Elder Futhark Runes!

Today we take a look at Wunjo (woon-you).

If I had to pick a favorite rune, I think this would be it. It is the rune I chose to use in my White Rune Series and is introduced in “Ghostly Interference.”

The keywords associated with this rune are: Joy, Pleasure, Happiness, Happy Relationships, Well-being, Success, and a Happily-Ever-After.

This is a very positive rune, indicating all manner of happiness and well-being. When this rune shows up in a reading, it indicates situations that have been difficult are resolved and optimism is renewed. It may be that a surprise development comes into your life which changes everything for the better. That certainly was the case in “Ghostly Interference.”

It can indicate that the Wheel of Karma has turned in your favor and you are about to come into yourself in some way. In one’s work, especially of an artistic or creative nature, it can represent the joy you get from your work.

As the rune of joy, Wunjo is associated with happy relationships. You are truly able to enjoy the company of others.

Overall, it is a super positive rune depicting joy, happiness and success.

See why I can say it’s my favorite?

The birthdates associated with this rune are October 13 – October 28.
